Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking dish or sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the Cod:
    • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the baking dish.
    • Drizzle olive oil or melted butter over the fillets.
    • Evenly sprinkle minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper on top.
  • Add Lemon Slices:
    • Arrange lemon slices around and on top of the cod fillets to enhance the flavor.

    • The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
