Description

These Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears are the perfect blend of savory and sweet flavors. The creamy, tangy blue cheese pairs beautifully with the natural sweetness of fresh pears, while crunchy walnuts, a drizzle of honey, and a hint of thyme add depth and balance. This easy-to-make appetizer or side dish will surely impress your guests with its elegance and taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the pears in half and remove the cores using a melon baller or spoon.
  • Place the pear halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • In a small bowl, combine blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme leaves. Mix until well combined.
  • Stuff each pear half with the blue cheese mixture, pressing gently to secure.
  • Drizzle honey over the stuffed pears.
  • Bake the pears in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm, garnished with additional thyme if desired

Notes

  • Swap Cheese: Replace blue cheese with goat cheese, brie, or gorgonzola for a different flavor.
  • Sweeten It More: Add more honey or a dash of cinnamon for a sweeter variation.
