100 grams blue cheese, crumbled
100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
50 grams walnuts, chopped
6–8 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon milk
Sea salt and cracked pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) or 200°C (390°F) for non-fan-forced ovens.
-
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each puff pastry sheet.
-
Evenly sprinkle walnuts, blue cheese, Parmesan, and thyme over the pastry. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Roll up each sheet tightly and slice in half lengthwise.
-
Twist each strip and coil into a round shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
Brush with milk for a golden finish.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
-
Garnish with extra thyme leaves before serving.
Notes
Omit walnuts for a nut-free version.
Substitute blue cheese with goat cheese, feta, or brie for a different flavor.
Add balsamic glaze after baking for a sweet finish.
Try rosemary or oregano instead of thyme for variety.
Reheat in an oven, not the microwave, to keep it crispy.
