Boat Dip (also known as Rotel Ranch Dip) is a creamy, cheesy, and zesty dip that’s perfect for any occasion. Combining sour cream, Rotel tomatoes, ranch seasoning, and cheddar cheese, it’s a flavorful, no-cook dip that’s easy to make and great for parties, tailgates, or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
For the Dip:
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Drain the Rotel: Thoroughly drain the Rotel tomatoes to remove excess liquid.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine sour cream, drained Rotel tomatoes, ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar cheese, and parsley (if using). Stir until well combined.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For the best flavor, chill for 1-2 hours or overnight.
