Description

This Bow Tie Pasta Salad is creamy, savory, and packed with colorful veggies, cheddar cheese. Perfect for potlucks, BBQs, or as a light meal, this easy pasta salad is ready in minutes and always a crowd favorite.


Ingredients

Bow tie pasta

Cheddar cheese

Purple onion

Frozen peas

Mayonnaise

Sweet relish

Granulated sugar

White vinegar

Salt

Black pepper


Instructions

  • Cook bow tie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.

  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet relish, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Chill.

  • In a large bowl, combine pasta, diced cheddar,  onion, and thawed peas.

  • Pour dressing over pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Swap cheddar with mozzarella, feta, or gouda.

Add veggies like bell peppers or cherry tomatoes for extra color.

Use light mayo or Greek yogurt for a healthier dressing.

Stir in extra dressing or mayo if it thickens in the fridge.
