Ingredients
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry (thawed)
1 wheel of brie
1/4 cup cranberry sauce
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven or Air Fryer: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat your air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
-
Cut the Puff Pastry: Unroll the thawed puff pastry and cut it into 12 equal squares.
-
Assemble the Bites: Place each square of puff pastry into a muffin tin, pressing down gently and pricking the center with a fork. Add a slice of brie to each pastry square, then top with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
-
Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg to help achieve a golden, crispy finish.
-
Bake or Air Fry: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden and crispy. Alternatively, air fry for a quicker cook time.
-
Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh rosemary for an extra touch of flavor and elegance.
Notes
Add Nuts: For an extra crunch, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top before baking.
Sweet Touch: Drizzle with balsamic reduction or honey for a sweet finish.
