Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, rice, steamed broccoli, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • Prepare Topping: Mix melted butter with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the casserole.

  • Cool & Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Cheese Alternatives: Substitute mozzarella with Monterey Jack or Colby cheese.
  • Soup Variation: Use cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup instead of cream of chicken.
  • Extra Veggies: Add mushrooms, carrots, or peas for added nutrition.
