Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Make Cream Cheese Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and almond extract until smooth.

  3. Assemble Danishes: Roll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4–6 squares per sheet. Add 1 tbsp cream cheese mixture to the center, then top with cherry pie filling.

  4. Shape (Optional): Leave open-faced or fold corners inward slightly. Gently press edges if sealing.
