- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.
- Prepare Wet Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with vegetable oil and half of the sugar. Stir until the butter is fully melted. Remove from heat.
- Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and the remaining sugar. Slowly add the warm butter mixture, whisking continuously.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Fold in the sifted dry ingredients and chocolate chips using a rubber spatula. Mix until just combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the top is shiny with slight cracks.
- Cool & Serve: Let brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing.
