Description

These Easy Chocolate Fudge Brownies are rich, fudgy, and irresistibly chocolatey. With chewy edges and gooey centers, this simple recipe delivers bakery-style brownies using common pantry ingredients. Perfect for satisfying sweet cravings or impressing guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.
  • Prepare Wet Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with vegetable oil and half of the sugar. Stir until the butter is fully melted. Remove from heat.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and the remaining sugar. Slowly add the warm butter mixture, whisking continuously.
  • Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Fold in the sifted dry ingredients and chocolate chips using a rubber spatula. Mix until just combined.
  • Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the top is shiny with slight cracks.
  • Cool & Serve: Let brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • Nutty Addition: Add chopped walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
  • Flavor Twist: A teaspoon of espresso powder enhances the chocolate flavor.
  • Swirls: Add peanut butter or caramel sauce for a marbled effect.
  • Toppings: Sprinkle flaky sea salt before baking for balance.
