Description

These easy buttery garlic parmesan breadsticks are quick to make and bursting with flavor. Using frozen yeast rolls, they are transformed into soft, golden-brown breadsticks topped with a garlic butter mixture and parmesan cheese. Perfect as a side for pasta, soups, or as a savory snack, they are sure to be a hit at your next meal.

Ingredients

10 frozen yeast dinner rolls (Rhodes brand recommended)

1/4 cup salted butter

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Thaw the Rolls: Place frozen rolls on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray and let them thaw for about 30 minutes. The rolls should be soft but still cool.

  • Shape the Dough: Gently roll each thawed roll into a breadstick shape, about 6 inches long. Avoid rolling over the edges to keep them even.

  • Let the Dough Rise: Lightly spray the shaped breadsticks with non-stick cooking spray and cover with plastic wrap. Let them rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Uncover the breadsticks and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Prepare Garlic Butter: While baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in garlic powder and parsley.

  • Finish the Breadsticks: Once baked, remove the breadsticks from the oven. Brush them with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Add Extra Toppings: For more flavor, try adding red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning to the butter mixture.

Make Them Extra Cheesy: Add more parmesan cheese on top for a cheesy twist.

Garlic Butter Variations: You can add ranch seasoning or lemon zest for a unique flavor variation.
