Ingredients

Strawberries, chopped

Kiwi, peeled and chopped

Oranges, peeled and chopped

Brown sugar

Flour tortillas

Cinnamon and sugar

Cooking spray or melted butter

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fruit: Chop the strawberries, kiwi, and oranges into small pieces. Combine in a bowl.

  • Add Flavor: Zest one tablespoon of orange peel and add it to the fruit mixture. Add two tablespoons of orange juice and brown sugar to taste.

  • Chill: Place the fruit salsa in the fridge to chill until ready to serve.

  • Make the Cinnamon Chips: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.

  • Prepare Tortillas: Brush flour tortillas with melted butter or spray with cooking spray, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on both sides. Cut tortillas into triangles using a pizza cutter.

  • Bake: Arrange the tortilla pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  • Serve: Let the cinnamon chips cool completely before serving with chilled fruit salsa.

Notes

Additional Fruits: Add other fruits like mango, pineapple, or blueberries to customize your salsa.

Dipping Options: If you prefer, graham crackers or apple slices can be used as dippers.

Healthy Twist: Swap flour tortillas for whole wheat tortillas and reduce the sugar for a healthier version.
