Ingredients
1 lb mushrooms (white button, baby bellas, or your choice)
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon garlic salt
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill to 350°F.
-
Clean and slice the mushrooms in half or thirds, depending on their size. Place them in a large bowl.
-
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat.
-
Lay out a large sheet of heavy-duty tin foil and place the coated mushrooms in the center. Fold the foil over and seal the edges tightly.
-
Grill the foil packet for 15 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
-
Remove from the grill and let sit for a few minutes before opening the foil. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, then serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding thyme, rosemary, or basil to the garlic butter mixture.
A sprinkle of parmesan cheese before grilling adds a cheesy twist.
Add red pepper flakes for a spicy variation.
