Description

This Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is the ultimate chocolate lover’s dream! A rich, fudgy combination of brownies and moist bread, swirled with gooey hot fudge and baked to perfection. Perfect as a dessert or indulgent snack, this decadent treat is easy to make and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Mix in Buttermilk & Fudge: Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the batter, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined—do not overmix.
  • Swirl in Hot Fudge: Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce, creating swirls. If using, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  • Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool & Serve: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with extra hot fudge before serving if desired.

Notes

  • Double Chocolate: Add extra chocolate chips for an even fudgier texture.
  • Nutty Twist: Mix in walnuts or pecans for crunch.
  • Mocha Version: Add 1 teaspoon of instant espresso powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
  • Dairy-Free: Substitute butter with coconut oil and buttermilk with almond milk + vinegar.
