Ingredients
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup allulose sweetener
2 tbsp butter
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp espresso powder (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
-
In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy whipping cream, water, and allulose sweetener. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sweetener is dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer.
-
Add the butter and unsweetened chocolate to the saucepan. Stir constantly until the butter is melted and the chocolate is fully incorporated, creating a smooth sauce.
-
Stir in the vanilla extract, espresso powder (optional), and a pinch of salt. Continue to cook for 1-2 more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
-
Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
-
Serve warm over your favorite keto-friendly desserts, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat before use.
