This Lemon Mint Iced Tea is a refreshing, naturally flavored beverage that combines black tea with the citrusy brightness of lemon and the cooling aroma of mint. Ingredients
3 family-size black tea bags
1 quart (4 cups) boiling water
½ cup fresh mint leaves, lightly crushed
½ cup white sugar (adjust to taste or substitute with honey/agave)
½ cup fresh lemon juice
4 cups cold water
Instructions

Place tea bags in a large heatproof container. Pour boiling water over them and steep for 10 minutes.

Remove tea bags. While tea is still warm, stir in crushed mint leaves and sugar.

Let the mint steep for 30 minutes as tea cools to room temperature.

Strain out the mint leaves. Add lemon juice and cold water.

Chill thoroughly in the refrigerator.
