-
Strain the Mixture: Remove the tea bags and mint leaves, then pour the tea into a large pitcher.
-
Combine Ingredients: Add 2 quarts of cold water, orange juice, and lemon juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
-
Chill: Refrigerate the mixture until thoroughly chilled, about 2 hours.
-
Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea mixture over. If desired, add 1 ounce of bourbon to each glass and stir.
-
Garnish: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice to each glass before serving.
Notes
To create a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the bourbon for a refreshing mocktail.
Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of sugar, or use a sugar substitute for a lighter taste.
Experiment with different citrus juices, like lime or grapefruit, to give the drink an additional twist.
