Description

These Nutella crepes are the perfect blend of soft, buttery French crepes and rich chocolate-hazelnut spread, topped with fresh berries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, they’re quick to make and loved by all ages. Customize them with bananas, nuts, or whipped cream for an even more indulgent treat.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

½ cup whole milk

½ cup water

2 tbsp butter, melted

½ tsp salt

1 cup berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

1 cup Nutella

½ tbsp confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. Make Batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour and eggs. Gradually add milk and water, mixing until smooth. Add melted butter and salt.

  2. Cook Crepes: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil it, then pour in ¼ cup of batter, swirling to coat. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.

  3. Fill Crepes: Spread Nutella on one half of each crepe. Fold in half, then again into quarters or roll up.

  4. Top and Serve: Plate with berries and dust with confectioners’ sugar. Serve warm.

Notes

Make-Ahead: Batter can be made a day in advance and stored chilled.

Freeze-Friendly: Layer cooled crepes with parchment and freeze for up to 2 months.

Custom Toppings: Try bananas, whipped cream, or chopped hazelnuts for extra flavor.

Dairy-Free Option: Use plant milk and a dairy-free chocolate spread.
