Description

Oreo Mud Pie is a rich, no-bake dessert featuring a buttery Oreo crust, creamy milk filling, and topped with whipped cream and Oreo crumbles. This indulgent treat is perfect for any occasion, offering a perfect balance of crunchy and creamy textures.

Ingredients

For the Crust:

2 cups finely crushed Oreo cookies (about 24 cookies)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

3 cups whole milk

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:

    • In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated.

    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.

    • Refrigerate the crust for at least 30 minutes to set.

  • Make the Filling:

    • Heat the milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

    • Once the milk is warm (but not boiling), remove from heat and set aside.

  • Assemble the Pie:

    • Pour the warm milk into the chilled Oreo crust. Smooth out the filling with a spatula.

    • Return the pie to the refrigerator and chill for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight for best results.

  • Serve:

    • Once set, top the pie with whipped cream and garnish with crushed Oreo cookies or chocolate shavings.

    • Slice and serve!

Notes

Chocolate version: Add melted chocolate to the milk for a richer chocolate flavor.

Nutty twist: Incorporate chopped nuts into the crust for added texture.

Toppings: Try using chocolate or caramel sauce in place of whipped cream.
