Description

This Passion Fruit Mojito is a tropical spin on the classic mojito, blending fresh mint, lime, white rum, and the tangy sweetness of passion fruit pulp. Refreshing and easy to make, it’s the ultimate summer cocktail for beach vibes at home or sunny backyard gatherings.

Ingredients

1 fluid ounce lime juice

1 1/2 fluid ounces simple syrup

8 mint leaves

2 fluid ounces white rum

2 cups ice cubes, or as needed

2 ounces frozen passion fruit pulp (thawed, with or without seeds)

2 fluid ounces club soda

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine lime juice, simple syrup, and 6 mint leaves. Muddle for about 10 seconds to release the mint flavor.

  • Add rum and 1 cup of ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is frosty.

  • Strain into a glass. Add thawed passion fruit pulp and club soda. Stir gently.

  • Fill the glass with crushed ice and garnish with the remaining mint leaves. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a mocktail, skip the rum and add more club soda or a splash of a non-alcoholic spirit.

Fresh passion fruit pulp can be used in place of frozen—adjust to taste.

Simple syrup can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to a month.

To adjust sweetness, vary the amount of simple syrup.
