1 cup water
3 fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon honey
7 cups water
1 ¾ cups fresh lemon juice
2 slices orange

Prepare the Strawberry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water, sliced strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar, and honey. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Let cool, then refrigerate.

Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine 7 cups of water, fresh lemon juice, and orange slices. Stir in the chilled strawberry syrup.

Notes
You can use frozen strawberries (thawed) if fresh aren’t available.
For less sweetness, reduce the sugar amounts.
Add fresh mint or swap in sparkling water for a unique twist.
Straining the syrup is optional — leave the strawberry bits for added texture.
