Description

This Reese’s Poke Cake is a decadent dessert that combines the irresistible flavors of peanut butter and chocolate in every bite. Moist chocolate cake is soaked in a sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter mixture, then topped with whipped cream, Reese’s Pieces, and a drizzle of warm fudge sauce. Easy to make and perfect for any occasion, this indulgent treat is sure to become a crowd favorite, especially for peanut butter and chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

½ cup creamy peanut butter

1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

1 cup Reese’s Pieces or chopped mini Reese’s cups

½ cup hot fudge sauce or chocolate syrup (warmed)

Extra peanut butter for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  • Bake the Cake: Prepare and bake the chocolate cake in a 9×13-inch pan according to the package instructions. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes.

  • Poke and Fill: Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the warm cake. In a small bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.

  • Cool Completely: Let the cake cool completely before adding the topping.

  • Top and Chill: Spread the whipped topping over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with Reese’s Pieces or chopped mini Reese’s cups. Drizzle with warm fudge sauce and extra peanut butter if desired.

  • Refrigerate: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to set.

Notes

Crunchy Topping: Add crushed graham crackers or nuts to the topping for a bit of texture.

Chocolate Lovers: Use chocolate pudding mix in the cake for an extra layer of chocolate flavor.

Candy Variations: Try swapping Reese’s Pieces for chopped Snickers, M&Ms, or other candies.
