1/2 teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine 1/3 cup of the condensed French onion soup with ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, then shape the mixture into 6 oval patties.
-
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown both sides of the patties.
-
Once browned, pour off any excess fat from the skillet.
-
In a small bowl, blend the remaining French onion soup with flour until smooth.
-
Stir in the ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Mix until well combined.
-
Pour the sauce mixture over the patties in the skillet. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the patties are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
