Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 ounces button mushrooms, stems trimmed, brushed clean
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, stems trimmed, brushed clean
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Heat the Pan: Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sauté Mushrooms: Add button and cremini mushrooms in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3 minutes until browned.
  • Season & Stir: Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then stir and cook for another 3–4 minutes until tender.
  • Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Deglaze: Pour in white wine, scraping up browned bits. Cook for 2–3 minutes until reduced.
  • Finish: Stir in lemon juice and parsley, cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
  • Serve: Enjoy warm as a side dish or topping.

Notes

  • Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
