Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 8 ounces button mushrooms, stems trimmed, brushed clean
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, stems trimmed, brushed clean
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat the Pan: Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté Mushrooms: Add button and cremini mushrooms in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3 minutes until browned.
- Season & Stir: Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then stir and cook for another 3–4 minutes until tender.
- Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Deglaze: Pour in white wine, scraping up browned bits. Cook for 2–3 minutes until reduced.
- Finish: Stir in lemon juice and parsley, cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
- Serve: Enjoy warm as a side dish or topping.
