Ingredients

2 lbs beef stew meat (or chuck roast)

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp beef bouillon powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz egg noodles (extra-wide)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  • Place beef stew meat in the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and beef bouillon powder.

  • Mix the cream of mushroom soup with beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the beef.

  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.

  • About 20 minutes before the casserole is ready, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.

  • Optionally, stir the noodles into the slow cooker or serve them topped with the beef and sauce.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes
