Description

This White Almond Wedding Cake is a light, fluffy, and elegant dessert perfect for weddings, anniversaries, or any special occasion. With its soft texture and subtle almond flavor, this easy-to-make cake will impress your guests. Simple ingredients come together to create a memorable treat that’s ideal for any celebration!

Ingredients

1 18.25-oz. package of white cake mix

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt. Stir together until well combined.

  3. Add the ingredients specified on the cake mix box (eggs, oil, and water), and mix according to the package instructions.

  4. Once the batter is smooth, add 1-2 teaspoons of almond extract (optional but recommended for that signature almond flavor).

  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.

  8. Once the cakes are completely cool, frost with your favorite frosting (buttercream or cream cheese frosting works wonderfully) and enjoy!

Notes

Different flavorings: Experiment with vanilla or coconut extract for a twist on the almond flavor.

Decorative options: Add fresh fruit, edible flowers, or sprinkles to the top for extra flair, especially for a wedding cake.

Gluten-Free Option: Use a gluten-free cake mix and gluten-free flour to make this cake gluten-free.
