Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon Korean chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon coconut palm sugar
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Noodles – Boil egg noodles until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Sauté the Shrimp – Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce – In the same skillet, sauté garlic and green onions until fragrant. Add Korean chili flakes and coconut palm sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Combine Ingredients – Return shrimp to the skillet. Add sweet soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and lemon juice. Toss in cooked noodles, adding reserved pasta water as needed for the desired sauce consistency.
