Ingredients

2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup white wine (or sake)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup mirin
1/2 cup light soy sauce
2 packets ramen (discard seasoning packet)
8 ounces broccoli florets
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a heavy skillet on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.

Add minced garlic and ginger to the beef, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Stir in white wine, sugar, mirin, and soy sauce. Let the mixture reduce on medium heat for 6-8 minutes, until thickened and reduced by half.

While the sauce reduces, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions (1 minute shy of the recommended time) and steam broccoli for 1-2 minutes in the microwave.

Add the cooked ramen and steamed broccoli to the skillet, tossing them with the beef and teriyaki sauce until well coated.

For a lighter version, swap ground beef with ground chicken, turkey.
