Kefta (or keufté, kufteh, köfte,) is an egg-shaped preparation of meat and spices that is served in the Maghreb, Mashreq, the Balkans, Armenia, Turkey, the Caucasus ( Chechnya), in the Indian subcontinent and in some other countries of the Middle East, such as Lebanon.
